In Royal Artillery

Gunner Tom Whitehead (20), son of Mr. T. Whitehead, of 2, Thompson Road, Wombwell, is now serving in the Royal Artillery.

He is old boy of Park Street Schools, Wombwell, and was formerly employed at the pit top at Darfield Main.

He joined up in May of last year.
