Councillor’s Son

Serving in the Royal Engineers as a sapper is George Cooper (22), oldest son of Coun. and Mrs. Cooper, 22, Chapel Avenue, Brampton.

Formerly employed as a shunter on the L N.E.R. at Rotherham, he joined up in October, 1940, and is now “up North,” where he keeps in touch with home through the “South Yorkshire Times.”
