Seaman David Scott (21), son of Mr. and Mrs. George Scott, of 25, Goodyear Crescent, Wombwell, is on the honour’s list of Wombwell Parish Church choir, being a former member. Before the outbreak of war, he left Darfield Main to join the Navy and has had many thrilling adventures

One of his ships was lost by enemy action. He was married 12 months ago.
