Former Wombwell Bandsman

Gunner Joe Myers (21), R.A.. son of Mr. and Mrs. William Myers, of 41, Gower Street, Wombwell, has served three years in the Amy and was in the evacuation from Dunkirk.

He is now overseas helping to hold another outpost. Moore will be remembered as a former member of Wombwell Town Prize Band. He is an old boy of Park Street School, Wombwell, and a former member of the choir of Wombwell Parish Church.
