“Uttley” Pigeon Cup Winner

Congratulations to Mr. Walter Moore, of 42, Bartholomew Street, Wombwell, who has won for the third year in succession and thereby becomes the owner of the “Uttley” Pigeon Cup at the York Fat Stock Show.

Mr. Moore has made a determined bid for this trophy. He won it in 1925, was placed second in the following year and then went on to win it three years in succession.

Mr. Moore is well known as a breeder of exhibition homers, with which class of bird he has gained this success in open competition against breeders from all over the country.

His winning bird each year has been of the blue chequer type. Mr. Moore has been connected with the fancy for twenty years and has won numerous prizes.
