In The Guards

Guardsman James Beachill (21) is the only son of Mrs Beachill, of 40 Aldham cottages, Barnsley Road, Wombwell, and the late Mr Alfred Beachill.

He left Darfield Main Colliery, where he was employed as a shunter, to join the Coldstream Guards as a volunteer in October of last year and has found the life very much to his liking.

He wishes to be remembered to all old friends at the Mount Tabor Wesleyan Reform Church
